VTS app login page – Site Plan Promotion

Every SaaS platform has one but often it’s the last place thought of for marketing purposes. Behold, the login page.

When I arrived at VTS, we weren’t using the login page for any marketing. We had an image touting ourselves as the #1 platform for commercial real estate leasing & asset management.

Software companies talk a lot about “eating their own dog food.” We had to eat some real estate dog food. Turns out this was a highly trafficked page (to the tune of 4,000 weekly views), making it valuable “real estate.” Wanting to capitalize on this traffic and real estate, I swapped the image out and created a rotating calendar for promotions on the login page.

The result? 4,000 extra weekly impressions to our customer base on upsell/expansion offers, product updates, events or thought leadership. All without the expense of email fatigue.

In August 2017, we replaced the Accelerate 2017 user conference promo with a new promo to coincide with the Site Plan launch.
